Group Product Manager - Fintech

PhonePe is India's leading digital payments platform with 500+ million registered users and market leadership in UPI transactions. Backed by Walmart, PhonePe is expanding into insurance, wealth management, and lending to build a complete financial services ecosystem.

We are seeking a Group Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for our lending and credit products vertical. This role will drive 0-1 product initiatives and scale them to millions of users while working closely with engineering, design, and business teams.

• Define and execute product vision and roadmap for PhonePe's lending and credit products
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, analytics, and business teams to deliver impactful products
• Drive product discovery through user research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
• Partner with regulatory, compliance, and risk teams to ensure product adherence to NBFC/RBI guidelines
• Mentor and guide 2-3 Product Managers and establish product development best practices

• 8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in fintech or financial services
• Proven track record of building and scaling consumer products with millions of users
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in product metrics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision making
• B.Tech from tier-1 engineering college (IIT/BITS/NIT); MBA from top B-school is a plus
• Deep understanding of lending products, credit scoring, underwriting, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience working in high-growth startups or leading tech companies preferred
