The Data Scientist will work on building machine learning models to optimize pricing, demand forecasting, and supply allocation for Ola's ride-hailing platform. This role involves working with large-scale data, conducting experiments, and delivering models that impact millions of rides daily. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to solve complex problems.

• Build and deploy machine learning models for pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and rider-driver matching
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
• Design and execute A/B tests to measure impact of data science initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize ML models at scale
• Monitor model performance and iterate based on real-world feedback
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership

• 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with hands-on ML experience
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Strong statistical knowledge and experience with A/B testing and experimentation
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in mobility, e-commerce, or consumer internet is a plus
