Credit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead corporate and SME lending operations for East India region. This role involves credit appraisal, portfolio management, relationship building with corporate clients, and ensuring asset quality while driving profitable loan book growth.

• Lead credit appraisal and sanctioning process for corporate and SME loan proposals ranging from ₹5 crores to ₹50 crores
• Manage a portfolio of ₹500+ crores ensuring asset quality, timely renewals, and risk mitigation
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, industry research, and risk assessment for credit proposals
• Collaborate with relationship managers to structure customized lending solutions for corporate clients
• Monitor portfolio health, early warning signals, and implement corrective actions to manage NPAs
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal credit policies, and audit requirements

• 8+ years of corporate/SME lending experience with strong credit appraisal and risk assessment skills
• In-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit structuring
• Understanding of various industries including manufacturing, services, infrastructure, and trading
• MBA in Finance or CA qualification from recognized institutions
• Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to present credit proposals to senior management and credit committees
• Proficiency in banking systems, credit rating models, and MS Excel for financial modeling
