Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect will design and oversee cloud infrastructure strategies supporting Flipkart's massive scale operations. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, cost optimization, and building resilient systems that handle peak loads during major sale events.

• Design and architect scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP supporting millions of concurrent users
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, modernization projects, and infrastructure optimization across 200+ microservices
• Define cloud governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards for enterprise-grade infrastructure
• Drive cost optimization initiatives achieving 30-40% reduction in cloud spending through right-sizing and automation
• Mentor DevOps teams and establish best practices for infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and orchestration
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture reviews, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field from premier institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 4 years in architecture roles
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP services, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure automation tools
• Strong experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of architecting high-availability systems supporting millions of users
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments
