Claims Manager

We are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead our motor and property claims operations for the Western region. This role involves managing end-to-end claims processing, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of claims assessors and work closely with surveyors, TPAs, and network partners.

• Oversee claims operations for motor and property insurance with monthly claim volumes exceeding 5,000 cases
• Ensure adherence to TAT, claim settlement ratios, and regulatory compliance as per IRDAI guidelines
• Lead and mentor a team of 25+ claims assessors and surveyors across the region
• Implement fraud detection mechanisms and manage high-value or complex claim investigations
• Drive process improvements and digitization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage relationships with surveyors, garage networks, loss assessors, and legal teams

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; professional certification in insurance (AIII, AIIIB) is mandatory
• 9-12 years of experience in general insurance claims with at least 4 years in managerial roles
• Strong expertise in motor and property claims assessment, settlement, and litigation management
• Deep understanding of IRDAI regulations, Insurance Act, and Motor Vehicles Act
• Proven experience in managing large teams and driving operational KPIs
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with insurance claim management systems and MS Office
