About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Category Head to lead our Snacks & Beverages portfolio, driving category strategy, innovation, and market expansion. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future roadmap of our high-growth categories and delivering exceptional business results.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for snacks and beverages to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Lead product innovation pipeline, working closely with R&D and marketing teams to launch new SKUs aligned with consumer insights
- Drive brand positioning and communication strategy across all touchpoints to strengthen category leadership
- Manage P&L for the category portfolio with accountability for top-line growth and bottom-line optimization
- Conduct deep market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer research to identify white spaces and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with trade marketing and sales teams to design category-specific GTM strategies and promotional campaigns
What Parle Products Is Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in FMCG brand management or category management with at least 4 years in leadership roles
- MBA from a premier institution with proven track record in managing large-scale consumer brands
- Strong understanding of category dynamics in snacks, beverages, or related FMCG segments
- Demonstrated success in launching new products and driving innovation in competitive markets
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience working across cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of Indian retail landscape, distribution channels, and consumer behavior patterns
