The Backend Developer will design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems that process millions of transactions daily. This role requires deep technical expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and payment processing workflows.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services handling high-volume payment transactions
• Build scalable microservices using Java, Go, or Python with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies for low-latency responses
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production reliability
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 6 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and RESTful API design
• Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in fintech, payments, or high-transaction volume systems is highly desirable
