About the Role
The Zonal Head will oversee sales operations across the Western zone, managing a network of distributors, retail partners, and brand stores. This strategic leadership role involves driving revenue growth, market expansion, and ensuring execution of sales initiatives across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage sales operations across the Western zone covering 150+ touchpoints and achieving revenue targets of ₹500+ crores annually
- Develop and execute zone-level sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches in alignment with national objectives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key distributors, modern trade partners, and large format retail chains
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of 40+ sales professionals including Area Managers, Territory Officers, and retail coordinators
- Ensure effective inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain coordination across the zone
What Samsung India Electronics Is Looking For
- 10-14 years of progressive sales experience in consumer electronics, mobile, or consumer durables industry
- Proven track record of managing large geographical territories and delivering consistent revenue growth
- Strong understanding of modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce distribution channels
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams in competitive markets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience handling national and regional retail partners
- MBA in Sales & Marketing or related field from a reputed institution
- Willingness to travel extensively across the zone (up to 60% travel)
