Vice President - Learning Platform Engineering

We are seeking a Vice President of Learning Platform Engineering to lead the development of our next-generation adaptive learning platform. You'll oversee engineering teams building personalized learning experiences powered by AI, serving 150+ million students globally.

• Lead 100+ engineers across multiple product teams building learning platforms and content delivery systems
• Define technical vision and architecture for adaptive learning, assessment, and analytics platforms
• Drive engineering excellence through best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
• Scale platform infrastructure to support 10M+ concurrent users with sub-second response times
• Partner with product, content, and data science teams to deliver personalized learning journeys
• Establish engineering culture focused on innovation, ownership, and customer impact

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Proven track record of building consumer products used by millions of users
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Experience with video streaming, content delivery networks, and mobile-first platforms
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevOps, and agile methodologies
• Exceptional people management skills with experience building and scaling engineering teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
