SOC Lead

The SOC Lead will head the Security Operations Center, managing 24x7 threat monitoring, incident response, and security operations for enterprise clients. This role requires deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, team leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in security posture.

• Lead and manage a team of 15-20 security analysts across shifts providing 24x7 SOC operations
• Oversee threat detection, incident triage, investigation, and response for critical security events
• Define and refine SOC processes, playbooks, and escalation procedures to improve response times and effectiveness
• Manage SIEM platforms, threat intelligence tools, and security automation technologies
• Conduct root cause analysis of security incidents and implement preventive measures
• Prepare executive reports on security posture, incident trends, and SOC performance metrics for client stakeholders

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years leading SOC or incident response teams
• Strong expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight), EDR/XDR platforms, and threat intelligence
• Deep knowledge of threat landscape, attack vectors, malware analysis, and forensics
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH, or GIAC are mandatory
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate security risks to non-technical audiences
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK
