Senior Project Engineer - Infrastructure

The Senior Project Engineer will oversee the execution of a major metro rail construction project in Pune, managing civil engineering activities, contractor coordination, and ensuring project milestones are met. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in civil construction methodologies and strong project management capabilities.

• Supervise and coordinate all civil engineering activities for metro viaduct and underground station construction worth ₹800+ crores
• Review and approve engineering drawings, method statements, and quality control plans submitted by contractors and design consultants
• Monitor daily construction progress, resource deployment, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and ensure compliance with RDSO, IRC, and IS code specifications
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including PMCC, clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
• Prepare detailed progress reports, technical presentations, and variance analysis for senior management and clients

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university; Master's degree preferred
• 8-12 years of experience in infrastructure projects with at least 5 years in metro rail or similar heavy civil construction
• Strong knowledge of design codes, construction methodologies for viaducts, tunneling (NATM/TBM), and station construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and other engineering software tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and resolve complex engineering challenges
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred
• Willingness to work at project sites with extended hours as per project demands
