Senior Design Engineer - Structural

We are hiring a Senior Design Engineer specializing in structural engineering to support our Chennai metro and infrastructure projects. This role involves detailed design, analysis, and engineering for complex civil structures including viaducts, stations, and bridges using advanced software tools.

• Perform detailed structural design and analysis for metro viaducts, elevated stations, cut-and-cover tunnels, and associated structures
• Utilize advanced engineering software including STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and design validation
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design reports, and construction documentation as per project specifications
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, and consultants to ensure design compliance with IS codes, IRC standards, and client requirements
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering exercises, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Support construction teams with technical clarifications, design modifications, and site issue resolution

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university; Master's in Structural Engineering preferred
• Minimum 9 years of experience in structural design with focus on transportation infrastructure, metro projects, or high-rise structures
• Expert proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and other structural analysis software
• In-depth knowledge of IS codes (IS 456, IS 1893), IRC standards, and Eurocodes for structural design
• Experience working on metro rail, flyovers, bridges, or large-scale infrastructure projects with reputed EPC contractors
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple design deliverables
• Chartered Engineer certification or pursuing professional engineering credentials is advantageous
