Senior Academic Head - K-12 Programs

We are seeking an experienced Senior Academic Head to lead curriculum design, content development, and pedagogy strategy for our K-12 Math and Science programs for grades 6-10. This role involves working with curriculum designers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to create engaging, learning outcome-driven educational content.

• Lead academic strategy and curriculum development for Math and Science programs aligned with CBSE, ICSE, and state board syllabi
• Oversee content creation by a team of 25+ subject matter experts, curriculum designers, and educational technologists
• Design learning frameworks, concept maps, and pedagogy approaches that ensure deep conceptual understanding and exam readiness
• Review and quality-check video lessons, interactive exercises, practice questions, and assessments for accuracy and engagement
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to integrate academic content into BYJU'S learning platform with adaptive learning features
• Analyze student learning data and user feedback to continuously improve content quality and learning outcomes

• Minimum 10 years of experience in education sector with strong academic background in Math/Science/Engineering
• Prior experience in curriculum design, content development, or academic leadership roles in K-12 education or EdTech
• Deep understanding of CBSE/ICSE curriculum, pedagogy frameworks, and assessment methodologies
• Proven track record of building high-quality educational content that drives learning outcomes and student engagement
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire and develop content teams
• M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Ed. in relevant subjects; B.Ed. or teaching certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and passion for transforming education through technology
