Security Architect

As Security Architect, you will design and implement comprehensive security architecture for Paytm's payments, banking, and commerce platforms. This role requires expertise in application security, cloud security, network security, and threat modeling. You will work with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles and ensure regulatory compliance across all products.

• Design and implement enterprise-grade security architecture for fintech applications and cloud infrastructure
• Lead threat modeling, security assessments, and architecture reviews for new products and features
• Define security standards, frameworks, and best practices aligned with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and RBI guidelines
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and solutions for identity management, encryption, and monitoring
• Mentor security engineers and conduct security awareness training for development teams

• 9+ years of experience in information security with at least 4 years in security architecture roles
• Strong expertise in application security, cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), and network security
• Hands-on experience with security frameworks like OWASP, NIST, CIS, and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001)
• Deep understanding of cryptography, PKI, authentication protocols, and secure coding practices
• Experience with security tools including SIEM, WAF, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools
• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP strongly preferred
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
