Security Architect

As Security Architect, you will design and implement comprehensive security architectures for Paytm's payment systems, financial products, and consumer-facing applications. You will lead security initiatives across application, infrastructure, and network layers while ensuring compliance with RBI and PCI-DSS standards. This is a strategic role directly impacting the security posture of India's largest fintech ecosystem.

• Design and implement end-to-end security architecture for payment systems, wallets, and banking applications
• Lead security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis for new product launches and infrastructure changes
• Establish and enforce security standards, frameworks, and best practices across development and operations teams
• Oversee compliance with RBI guidelines, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and other regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security controls in CI/CD pipelines and development lifecycle
• Drive incident response planning, security automation, and continuous improvement of security operations

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
• Minimum 9 years of experience in information security with at least 4 years in security architecture roles
• Deep expertise in application security, cloud security (AWS/GCP), and secure software development practices
• Strong knowledge of payment security standards (PCI-DSS), encryption, tokenization, and secure API design
• Experience with security tools including SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP highly preferred
• Proven track record of building security architectures for high-scale consumer-facing platforms
