Quality Manager - Automotive Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across our Pune manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring zero-defect manufacturing, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with global automotive quality standards.

• Lead quality management system (QMS) for automotive production facility producing 500+ units daily
• Implement and monitor IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 standards across manufacturing processes
• Drive Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce defect rates and improve PPM levels
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues using 8D, FMEA, and fishbone methodologies
• Manage vendor quality development and supplier audits to ensure incoming material quality
• Lead a team of 15+ quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians across shifts

• 9-14 years of experience in quality management within automotive or auto-component manufacturing
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949, ISO/TS standards, and automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC)
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification mandatory
• Proven experience in implementing zero-defect manufacturing and reducing PPM below 50
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering; Master's preferred
• Experience with quality management software and statistical analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
