QA/QC Lead - Automotive Components

The QA/QC Lead will drive quality assurance and control initiatives for automotive component manufacturing operations. This leadership role requires expertise in quality systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies to ensure zero-defect manufacturing and customer satisfaction.

• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities for automotive component production lines
• Implement and maintain ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 quality management systems
• Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC initiatives to ensure process capability and product quality
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage customer audits, supplier quality assessments, and internal quality audits
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen methodologies

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 8+ years in automotive quality management
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and quality tools (MSA, SPC)
• Experience in automotive tier-1 manufacturing with OEM customer interface
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is mandatory
• Proficiency in quality software tools like Minitab, quality modules in ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methodologies
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with ability to drive quality culture
