Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead civil engineering activities for our ongoing metro rail and infrastructure projects in Chennai. This role involves site execution, quality control, contractor coordination, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, consultants, and government authorities.

• Lead site execution of civil engineering works including tunneling, viaducts, stations, and associated infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely procurement and execution of work packages
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources; identify risks and implement mitigation measures
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and resolve technical issues in coordination with design teams
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for clients and senior management

• 8+ years of experience in civil engineering project execution, preferably in metro rail, highways, or large infrastructure projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree or relevant certifications is preferred
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, MS Project, and engineering software
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills with ability to manage large teams
• Experience working with government projects, statutory approvals, and contract management
• Willingness to work on-site with flexibility for extended hours and travel as required
