Production Manager

As Production Manager, you will oversee end-to-end production operations for the steel manufacturing unit, ensuring optimal output, quality standards, and safety compliance. • Manage daily production operations across multiple shifts to meet production targets and delivery schedules
• Lead a team of 150+ production workers, supervisors, and engineers to ensure seamless manufacturing operations
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity by 15-20%
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental compliance regulations
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
• Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to senior management

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in production management within steel, metals, or heavy manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of production planning, shop floor management, and manufacturing processes
• Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving production efficiency improvements
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and crisis management skills
• Willingness to work in a heavy industrial environment with shift responsibilities
