As Principal Learning Platform Engineer, you will architect and build systems powering personalized learning for millions of students globally. This role demands expertise in large-scale distributed systems, recommendation engines, and real-time analytics. You will lead technical innovation ensuring seamless, engaging learning experiences while mentoring engineering teams.

• Design and architect scalable learning platforms handling millions of concurrent users and personalized learning paths
• Build recommendation systems and adaptive learning algorithms that customize content based on student performance
• Lead development of real-time analytics pipelines tracking student engagement, progress, and learning outcomes
• Optimize platform performance, latency, and reliability for seamless video streaming and interactive content delivery
• Establish engineering best practices, system design patterns, and technical standards across product teams
• Mentor senior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and drive technical excellence across the organization

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with focus on large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in backend technologies (Java/Python/Node.js) and microservices architecture
• Experience building recommendation systems, personalization engines, or adaptive learning platforms
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing, streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark), and NoSQL databases
• Proven track record of architecting systems serving millions of users with high availability requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience in edtech, e-learning, or consumer-facing products is highly preferred
