Plant Head - Manufacturing

The Plant Head will lead all manufacturing operations for a greenfield automotive components facility in Ahmedabad. This critical leadership role demands an experienced manufacturing professional who can drive operational excellence, productivity, and safety while building a high-performing team.

• Lead end-to-end plant operations including production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics for automotive components manufacturing
• Drive production volumes of 50,000+ units per month while maintaining quality standards and cost optimization
• Manage a team of 600+ employees including engineers, technicians, operators, and support staff
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and ISO quality certifications
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and product development teams for new product launches and capacity expansion

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 12+ years in automotive manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years as Plant Manager or Head of Manufacturing in automotive/automotive components industry
• Deep expertise in production operations, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and supply chain management
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, and testing
• Proven track record of achieving production targets, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience building and scaling manufacturing teams
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and environmental management systems
