Plant Head - Automotive Components Manufacturing

We are seeking an accomplished Plant Head to lead our Pune manufacturing facility producing automotive wiring harness systems. This critical leadership role requires a seasoned manufacturing professional with proven track record in operational excellence, people management, and delivering business results in a high-volume automotive environment.

• Provide strategic leadership for the entire plant operations covering production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and HR
• Drive operational excellence initiatives to achieve world-class manufacturing KPIs including OEE, PPM, cost per unit, and delivery performance
• Manage P&L for the plant with annual revenue of ₹200+ Cr and ensure budgeted profitability targets
• Lead implementation of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs across all functions
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements
• Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline

• 12+ years of experience in automotive component manufacturing with at least 5 years in plant leadership roles
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred
• Strong expertise in automotive manufacturing processes, specifically wiring harness or similar component manufacturing
• Proven track record of managing large manufacturing facilities (500+ employees) and delivering consistent business results
• Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, lean manufacturing, TPM, and operational excellence methodologies
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with ability to drive change and build organizational capability
• Strong customer orientation with experience managing relationships with automotive OEMs
