Lead Data Scientist - AI/ML

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will drive AI/ML initiatives that directly impact business metrics across demand forecasting, personalization, and logistics optimization. You will lead a team of data scientists and work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy models at scale. • Lead end-to-end development of ML models for demand prediction, recommendation systems, and delivery optimization
• Design and implement experimentation frameworks (A/B testing) to measure model performance and business impact
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize ML models and ensure scalability
• Mentor a team of 4-6 data scientists and establish best practices for ML development
• Drive data-driven decision making by presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Stay current with latest ML research and identify opportunities to apply new techniques to business problems

• 8+ years of experience in data science with at least 3 years in leadership or lead roles
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments at scale
• Strong SQL skills and experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to translate business problems into ML solutions
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field preferred
