Lead Data Analytics Engineer

We're looking for a Lead Data Analytics Engineer to drive critical business insights across customer behavior, supply chain, and marketplace optimization. You'll build scalable data pipelines, advanced analytics models, and collaborate with product and business teams to influence strategic decisions. This role offers exposure to petabyte-scale data and industry-leading analytics infrastructure.

• Design and implement large-scale data pipelines processing billions of events daily using Spark, Hadoop, and cloud technologies
• Lead analytics initiatives to uncover insights on customer behavior, conversion optimization, and marketplace dynamics
• Build predictive models and statistical frameworks to support forecasting, pricing, and inventory optimization
• Mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, establishing best practices for data quality and analytics standards
• Collaborate with product managers, business leaders, and engineering teams to define metrics and KPIs
• Drive A/B testing frameworks and experimentation platforms to measure impact of product features

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles at scale
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Presto)
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP) and modern data stack tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
• Proven track record of building data pipelines handling millions of records with high reliability
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and predictive modeling
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
