Inside Sales Manager

We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team focused on enrolling working professionals into upGrad's premium degree and certification programs. This role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and the ability to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

• Lead and manage a team of 25-30 inside sales counselors to achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets
• Design and implement sales strategies, processes, and training programs to improve conversion rates by 20%+
• Monitor daily sales activities, pipeline health, and team performance through CRM dashboards and reports
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and one-on-one mentoring with team members
• Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and product teams to optimize lead quality and student experience
• Analyze sales metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent target achievement

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of inside sales experience with at least 3 years in team management role
• Prior experience in EdTech, higher education, or ed-services industry highly preferred
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently
• Strong proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Leadsquared
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and drive performance improvements
