Group Product Manager - Consumer Tech

We are seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead the consumer engagement pod, responsible for driving user retention, activation, and daily active usage across PhonePe's platform. This role will manage a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and marketing.

• Define and own the product strategy for user engagement features including rewards, gamification, personalization, and content discovery
• Lead a team of 3-4 product managers and collaborate with 25+ engineers and designers to build and scale consumer products
• Drive key metrics including DAU/MAU ratio, user retention, session frequency, and transaction velocity
• Conduct user research, analyze behavioral data, and run A/B experiments to validate product hypotheses
• Partner with data science teams to build ML-powered personalization and recommendation engines
• Present product roadmaps and business impact to senior leadership and align stakeholders across the organization

• Minimum 9 years of product management experience with at least 3 years leading consumer-facing products at scale
• Proven track record of building and launching products used by millions of users with measurable business impact
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in product analytics tools, SQL, and data-driven decision making
• Experience managing and mentoring product managers and working with cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of consumer behavior, engagement mechanics, and growth strategies
• B.Tech from Tier-1 engineering college; MBA from premier business school preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence without authority
