Design Engineer - Heavy Machinery

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer specializing in heavy machinery systems to join our product development team. This role involves designing innovative mechanical systems for construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for excavators, wheel loaders, and mining equipment
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks/NX)
• Conduct structural analysis, FEA simulations, and design validation to ensure product reliability and safety
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and testing to drive design-to-production
• Lead design reviews, DFMEA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards including ISO, CE, and safety regulations

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in heavy machinery, automotive, or capital equipment sectors
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution; Master's degree preferred
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX) and PLM systems
• Expertise in FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) for structural and thermal analysis
• Deep understanding of machine design principles, material selection, hydraulic systems, and transmission systems
• Experience with GD&T, design for manufacturing (DFM), and prototype development
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work on complex engineering challenges
