About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator for our Oncology department to oversee clinical operations, patient care pathways, and coordination between medical, nursing, and administrative teams. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, operational excellence, and patient-centric approach.
What You Will Be Doing
- Coordinate end-to-end patient care pathways for oncology patients from admission to discharge and follow-up care
- Liaise between oncologists, radiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Monitor clinical protocols, treatment adherence, and quality metrics for oncology department managing 200+ beds
- Manage patient scheduling for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical oncology, and diagnostic procedures
- Conduct clinical audits, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Handle patient and family grievances, provide counseling support, and ensure high patient satisfaction scores
What Apollo Hospitals Is Looking For
- B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent with 7+ years of clinical experience including 3+ years in oncology or critical care
- Strong understanding of oncology treatment protocols, chemotherapy administration, and cancer care pathways
- Proven experience in clinical coordination, patient care management, or nurse leadership roles in multi-specialty hospitals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Knowledge of NABH standards, hospital accreditation processes, and clinical quality frameworks
- Proficiency in hospital management systems and electronic medical records platforms
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with ability to handle emotionally challenging situations
