Claims Manager - Health Insurance

We're seeking an experienced Claims Manager to oversee health insurance claims operations, ensuring efficient processing, fraud detection, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

• Manage end-to-end claims processing operations for health insurance policies with monthly volumes exceeding 50,000 claims
• Lead a team of 30+ claims assessors, processors, and investigators to ensure timely claim settlements
• Implement fraud detection mechanisms and conduct investigations for suspicious claims
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal policies, and service level agreements
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with hospital network, customer service, and underwriting teams to resolve complex cases

• 8+ years of experience in health insurance claims management with minimum 3 years in leadership roles
• In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, medical terminologies, and claim assessment procedures
• Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations, claim settlement processes, and fraud detection
• Proven track record of managing large teams and meeting turnaround time (TAT) commitments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Experience with claims management systems and insurance software platforms
• Bachelor's degree required; professional insurance certifications (IRDAI/III) preferred
